Chanda Zeigler, LMP
A Washington native, I grew up on 30 acres in the lush Snoqualmie Valley. My passion for working with the body began at the age of 18 after experiencing the profound effects of BodyMind Shiatsu and Massage combined in a single session. I was and still am in awe of the subtle, non verbal communication passing between practitioner and client as well as the ability of the practitioner to hone in and truly listen to another in such a way that ignites the relationship between body, mind and spirit. I believe this is an essential component to the path of healing.
My foundation training is in BodyMind Shiatsu and graduated from the BodyMind Academy in Bellevue, WA with a Certificate in both Massage and Shiatsu. I have been practicing in the Snoqualmie Valley and Eastside since 2003.
I am dedicated to offering caring, compassionate, and effective bodywork, having studied Deep Lymphatic Drainage, Sotai, CranioSacral Therapy, Massage Cupping, Injury Treatment, Deep Tissue work, Myofascial Release as well as continuing to receive an array of modalities of alternative therapies through regular self-care. Listening intentionally to my clients and addressing their present concerns is the foundation of successful bodywork. I bring confidence, patience, compassion, and knowledge, integrating modalities to facilitate healing.
I also enjoy spending my free time with my 3 sons, hiking on forest trails, watching their baseball and soccer games, and teaching them how to live a simple, joyous life. I also love to read, spend time with friends and family, practice yoga, take pictures of nature, and cook delicious, healthy meals. I am dedicated not only my children’s and others, but also my own health and well being. I spend as much time as possible receiving bodywork, acupuncture, therapeutic saunas, juicing, cleansing and spending time in nature.
